In 1984, fresh out of college, the Klapmeier brothers founded Cirrus Design in a simple warehouse. Obsessed with the light cloud that held up their dreams in the first place, they named the company "Cirrus Design", which became the predecessor of today's Cirrus Aircraft Company.

Today, more than 30 years later, Cirrus Corporation, headquartered in Drews, Minnesota, USA, has grown to become the world's largest manufacturer of piston general aircraft, the only caster of privately flying jets, and the design and construction of a turning point in the history of the general aviation industry. The company's CEO, co-founder Dale Klapmeier, was inducted into the American Aviation Hall of Fame for his tremendous promotion and change in aviation history, becoming a respected aviation celebrity alongside the Armstrong and Wright brothers.

In 2016, Cirrus will establish a new Customer Experience Vision Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, which will serve as another service benchmark for the aviation industry. We will open another chapter of "Cirrus Cloud Life".
