Headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, Chrysler owns the three major automotive brands Chrysler, Jeep® and Dodge, as well as the parts brand Mopar, which includes passenger cars, pickup trucks and light commercial vehicles. Outside North America, Chrysler sold a record 2007 (238,218 vehicles), up 15 percent from 2006. This also set another record for Chrysler: 31 consecutive months of year-on-year sales growth. In all regions outside North America, Chrysler increased sales in 2007: the Middle East/North Africa (21,171 units) saw the highest increase of 64 percent; Latin America sales (45,199 units) increased by 22%; Eastern Europe sales (12,775 units) increased by 30%; Asia-Pacific sales (33,715 units) increased by 22%; Sales in Western and Central Europe (117,675 units) increased by 6 percent. It accounts for about half of Chrysler's international sales.

Currently, Chrysler sells more than 9 percent of its total global sales outside of North America (2000: 6 percent). The model range includes all three Chrysler Corporation's brands, as well as a number of trucks and SUVs (sport utility vehicles). Outside of North America, Chrysler Corporation's business has been growing since 2004, with the highest sales volume recorded in 2007. In 2008, Chrysler will launch three new models (one from each of the three brands) outside of North America and continue its strategic and profitable growth in the global market.
Dodge has grown to several model lines. Among them, the sedan models mainly include Viper (Viper), Intrepid (dreadnought), Stealth (stealth), Spirit (elf), Shadow (shadow), Neon (neon), Colt (pony), etc., SUVs mainly include Durango, Dakota, Ram Truck (ram pickup), Ram SRT-10, Sprinter, MPV mainly Caravan, Grand Carava, and the crossover Journey.
