Windsor, as the world's leading foreign wine company, Diageo (China) is a new high-end Scotch whisky brand. Its name comes from the ancient British royal residence "Windsor Castle", and the most historical and authoritative "Windsor Dynasty" from it.
From the Royal Blue Orders Distillery of Scotland
One of only three royal distilleries in Scotland, Royal Blue Winery is located on the south bank of the River Dee, less than a mile from Balmoral Castle, the Queen's official residence in Scotland.
In 1848, during her stay at Balmora Castle, Queen Victoria paid a visit to the local Lanxun Winery, located in a corner of the royal estate. She was amazed at the quality and taste of the whisky produced by the distillery, so she decided to ask John, the owner of the distillery at the time. Berg conferred the title of "Imperial Family". At the same time, the name of the distillery was naturally changed to the Royal Blue Championship Distillery. Subsequent kings Edward VII and George V also conferred the title of "royal family" on the winery.
Windsor ™ Blended Scotch Whisky is of unrivalled high quality, containing an exclusive selection of the finest grain whiskies and precious malt whiskies from the Royal Blue Orders Distillery of Scotland, the home of Windsor Whisky.
Windsor Whisky is of exceptional quality and precious, with an unrivalled smoothness that comes from years of ageing in oak casks. Whenever a batch of aged whisky leaves the cellar, Windsor's Chief Blender, Douglas Murray, selects the rarest and finest whiskies to create his special blends, inheriting the traditional techniques developed by his Victorian predecessors, bringing us the signature smooth taste and delicate, harmonious enjoyment of each bottle of Windsor Scotch whisky.
The wine is golden amber in colour and is perfectly balanced with notes of malt, woody and vanilla and roasted apple and peach. Because of the addition of cinnamon, smooth honey and trace elderberry notes, it smells unusually fragrant.
Windsor Whisky Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky blended with grain whisky and malt whisky, with a smooth and balanced blend of flowers and fruit honey on the palate, vanilla and trace and blackberry notes on the aftertaste, adding a smooth mouthfeel and a hint of spicy taste emerges on the palate.
In order to truly appreciate the perfect smoothness of Windsor Scotch whisky, it is recommended to enjoy it with ice or purified water. When you need to treat your guests, we recommend using a cinnamon stick dipped in honey and stirred in a special Windsor glass, and you will immediately enjoy the excellent aroma and smoothness of Windsor Scotch Whisky.
Tens of thousands of casks of base wines are matured in ancient oak barrels to the most suitable vintage, while the finest and rarest spirits are hand-selected by Windsor's Master Blenders to create a truly unique Windsor whisky. Crafted using traditional Victorian brewing techniques, it creates the smoothest and perfectly balanced taste that sets Windsor Whisky apart from other premium blends in the world.
Home of Windsor Whisky
Windsor Castle is the oldest and only ever inhabited royal residence in the UK, dating back almost a thousand years. Since 1917, the British royal family has officially adopted "Windsor" as the family name of the royal family. The Duke of Windsor, also known as Edward VIII, is the most romantic monarch in British history, and his 35-year love story with Mrs. Wallis Simpson has fascinated women all over the world.
Windsor Castle was originally built of timber by William the Conqueror in 1070 to defend London and defend it from attacks from the west. However, after the remodeling made by successive kings, it gradually became an extraordinary building that shows the taste of royal power.
Windsor Castle has always been admired by successive emperors, especially George V. The king chose Windsor as an alias for the British royal family in 1917. Nowadays, the castle simply has a royal flag to signify that the castle is occupied by royalty.
