Pernod Ricard (China) Trading Co., Ltd., Royal Salute, started in 1953, Scotland's national brand, premium blended whisky, launched by the Chivas Regal Brothers Distillery

In 1953, the Chivas Brothers made a special "Royal Salute" to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth of the United Kingdom. The name "Royal Salute" comes from the custom of firing a 21-gun salute at visiting royalty. This precious 21-year-old whisky is served in red, green, blue and brown porcelain bottles.

Then, in 1953, to celebrate the accession of Queen Elizabeth to the throne of the United Kingdom, the Chivas Regal Brothers Distillery launched a premium blended whisky called "Royal Salute 21 yearsold", which has always been closely linked to the royal theme from the name to the packaging. Its name derives from the highest salute that the Royal Navy fleet fires 21 gun salutes in the air every year on the birthday of the Queen or Prince.

The meticulousness of the Royal Salute can be seen in the careful selection of the containers in which the liquor is stored. First, the wine is aged in oak barrels for a period of time before being bottled in blue porcelain bottles that have once stored Spanish sherry or American bourbon, all handmade by the craftsmen of the famous British ceramics factory "Wade".

Each bottle is stamped with a royal coat of arms label with the initials of the Queen's inscription. The red, blue and emerald gemstones set in the Queen's crown are transformed into a three-color bottle. The bottle is engraved with a warrior wielding a sword and a warhorse, and two salutes on the trademark to decorate its extraordinary value. Of course, it's all about the 21-year-old bottle in the bottle. After 21 years, the wine has been concentrated to only 60% of its original size, and a series of unique blends are used to create the "Royal Salute" with rich and complex flavors. "Royal Salute 21" is no longer a corporate brand, it has become a national brand of Scotland through quality control by government actions.

In 2003, on the occasion of the Queen's 50th anniversary on the throne, the Chivas Regal Brothers distillery launched the 50-year-old Royal Salute 50-yearold, and the distillery said it would not be able to release more blended whisky than 50 years old for at least eight years. In order to create the "ultimate honor" of this wine, all aspects, including the design and packaging of the bottle, have shown an unprecedented momentum.

The bottle is still handmade by "Wade", and the dark blue bottle is decorated with 999 sterling silver and 24K gold coat of arms, and even the cork is inlaid with gold and silver. In addition, due to the global limited edition of 255 bottles, the wine label is also marked with a reserve number, and each bottle is priced at up to $10,000. "50 Years of Royal Salute" tastes like a "perfume", with a charming aroma of stone fruit, floral and smoky aromas, which are deep, luscious, mellow and intoxicating in the throat. "50 Years of the Royal Salute" is both royal and precious.
