Gansu Tobacco Industry Co., Ltd., formerly known as Lanzhou Cigarette Factory, was founded in 1936. In 2002, it merged with the original Tianshui Cigarette Factory to form a production and management model of "one factory and two points". In November 2004, according to the overall deployment of the State Tobacco Monopoly Administration to implement the provincial tobacco management system and separate industry and commerce, it was placed under the management of China Tobacco Industry Development Center.
