In accordance with the overall plan of the autonomous region's "Million Mu Grape Ecological Corridor at the Eastern Foot of Helan Mountain", Agricultural Reclamation takes Yuquanying and Huangyangtan as the core areas of the grape industry at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, and builds the "Yuquan Grape Modern Industrial Park" integrating grape and wine processing clusters, scientific research and development, standardized planting, logistics and trade, wine culture expo and leisure tourism and vacation through the expansion of planting scale, the construction of characteristic towns, scientific research demonstration and other projects, and has become the main industrial support point on the grape industry corridor at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain.
The planting area of Ningxia agricultural reclamation grapes is 132,000 mu, of which 90% are red varieties of wine grapes, mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Snake Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, etc.; 10% of the white variety, mainly Chardonnay and noble incense. 14,000 acres of table grapes, the main varieties are red grapes, Chana, Rizamat, Auguste, Victoria, rose and so on. 500 acres of new cold-resistant varieties Beihong and Beimei have been introduced, 50,000 acres of water-saving drip irrigation demonstration gardens have been built for the integration of water and fertilizer, and 6 standardized demonstration gardens have been built in Yuquanying, Huangyangtan, Maosheng Grassland, Lianhu Branch and Qukou Farm.
Ningxia Xixiawang Wine Industry Co., Ltd. is a state-owned enterprise affiliated to Ningxia Agricultural Reclamation, founded in 1984, with a grape planting base of 132,000 mu and a processing capacity of 45,000 tons. It is the earliest grape industry group company in Northwest China integrating grape planting, scientific research and development, brewing and processing, product sales, tourism development and international winery.
The "Xixia Wang" brand dry red and dry white wines produced by the company have won more than 200 awards, such as the gold medal of the French International Famous Wine Expo, the gold medal of the China Agricultural Expo, the gold medal of the Asian Quality Competition, the gold medal of the International Wine Spirits Competition, the gold medal of the International Wine Expo at the eastern foot of Helan Mountain, the gold medal of the Bordeaux International Wine Challenge in France, the silver medal of the British Decanter International Wine Grand Prix, and the gold medal of the Berlin International Wine Grand Prix. It also took the lead in establishing a wine IoT anti-counterfeiting and quality traceability platform in China's wine industry.
