Gansu Mogao Industrial Development Co., Ltd. is a high-tech modern agricultural enterprise led by agricultural industrialization and dominated by the development of high-efficiency characteristic industries. The company was established on December 29, 1995, registered in No. 1 Park, Lanzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, with a registered capital of 321.12 million yuan and a legal representative: Zhao Guozhu. The company's main products are "Mogao" brand wine, malt malt and licorice flakes. The company has six branches and four subsidiaries. On March 24, 2004, Mogao successfully listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in its initial public offering of 56 million A shares. On June 30, 2008, Mogao successfully issued 40 million additional A shares to raise 400 million yuan again. In 2016, in the 8th China Wine Brand Value Evaluation Activity of "Huazhu Cup", the brand value of Mogao reached 11.238 billion yuan.

In 1983, Mogao began to build vineyards at Huangyanghe Farm in Wuwei, and in 1985 the first bottle of Mogao wine was born. In 2004 and 2008, the company completed the initial listing and additional financing respectively. The company has built a 10,000-acre wine grape planting base in Wuwei, Gansu Province, and built a Mogao International Winery in Lanzhou that integrates R&D, production, visit, tourism and cultural training.

Mogao pioneered the "4S 5P" model in the national wine industry, developed more than 200 products in seven series, including dry red, dry white, Gabennon, sweet wine, special wine, ice wine, brandy, etc., and produced Pinot Noir dry red and ice wine, both of which were rated as excellent new products by the China Food Industry Association. In September 2008, in the 2nd Yantai International Wine Quality Competition, Mogao Pinot Noir won the gold medal, and in November 2008, "Mogao Pinot Noir" won the "Golden Oak" award of the only wine dry red line at the 3rd World Famous Wine Festival in 2008. In August 2011, Mogao's Majaro, Mogao XO and Mogao Ice Wine won the "Gold Award of China Light Industry Exhibition".
