In 1910 (the second year of Xuantong), Brother Shen Yunpu of the Catholic Church of Our Lady of France established a wine cellar for church mass, sacrifice and religious drinking in the Catholic Cemetery of Our Lady of France at No. 13 Maweigou, Fuwai, Beijing, and hired the Frenchman Riguera as the winemaker to produce French-style red and white wines, with an annual output of only 5 to 6 tons. In 1946, it was registered as "Beijing Shangyiyang Winery" and officially sold wine. After liberation, it was nationalized, with 13 employees and an annual output of only more than 10 tons. In February 1959, the Beijing Municipal Government renamed it "Beijing Winery" and relocated to the southeast of Yuquan Mountain, the Eight Scenic Spots of Yanjing, and registered the "Zhonghua" brand, its main products "Osmanthus Chen", "Lotus White" and "China Red" are the world's or domestic first new products, and very suitable for China's consumption level and consumer demand at that time, therefore, in the market competition in a leading position. On March 17, 1987, "Beijing Longhui Liquor Co., Ltd." was established, and in 1988, the first bottle of wine was born by China's specially selected grapes and advanced winemaking technology in China, which was the year of the dragon in the Chinese lunar calendar, so it was called "Dragon Emblem".
In order to ensure the quality of each bottle of Longhui wine, French viticultural experts have investigated the soil and climate on the spot, introduced more than a dozen kinds of world famous grapes, and selected Huailai County, Hebei Province, which is 150 kilometers away from Beijing and has a history of more than 800 years of viticulture, to establish the company's own vineyard, which provides the most necessary high-quality raw materials for making pure French flavor wines, and proudly makes a commitment that "we guarantee that every bottle of Longhui is made with 100% Chinese grapes". At the same time, with the efforts of French winemakers and a group of Chinese winemakers studying in France and excellent winemakers, Longhui has achieved proud results: Longhui is one of the earliest manufacturers of single-variety wine in China, and its Longhui Chardonnay and Longhui Cabernet Sauvignon are unanimously respected at home and abroad; Longhui is the earliest producer of sparkling wine in China, and one of the first to produce high-quality sparkling wine according to the traditional methods of the Champagne region. Dragon Emblem was the first in China to produce the first bottle of "Huailai Reserve" red wine according to the strict standards of "origin" as early as 1996.
Longhui wine has quickly gained international recognition since its birth due to its unremitting pursuit of technology, unique style and pure European taste. Since winning the gold medal in the Reims region of France in October 1989 (the second year of the birth of Longhui wine), Longhui has won 27 awards, including grand prizes and gold medals, at the World Wine Competition and the International Professional Wine Competition.
