Tonghua Wine Co., Ltd., founded in 1937, is a representative and production base of sweet wine, a listed company specializing in grape planting, wine production and sales, and has the reputation of "Red National Liquor".

Tonghua Wine Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Tonghua Wine Co., Ltd.), formerly known as Tonghua Winery established in 1937, is one of the earliest wine production enterprises in China, with a total area of 10,340 square meters of underground wine cellars, a storage capacity of 6,000 tons, and 772 large oak barrels, making it one of the earliest underground wine cellars in China. Along the way, Tonghua wine has witnessed many pinnacle moments of honor in the history of New China. In 1949, Tonghua wine and Moutai became the special wine for the founding ceremony; In 1959, Tonghua wine (refined) was designated as a gift wine for the 10th anniversary of the National Day, and was named "National Day Wine" by Premier Zhou Enlai. On January 15, 2001, Tonghua Wine Co., Ltd. was officially listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 600365), becoming the second listed wine company in China. In 2012, Jixiang Guardian officially became the largest shareholder of Tonglu, opening a new chapter in the history of Tonglu.

Tonghua wine's "Hongmei", "Tonghua" brand, "Tianchi" and other brands have become the representative of Tonghua mountain wine. The "China's First Port Wine", "China's First Ice Wine" and "Export Hongmeishan Wine" produced by Tonglu Co., Ltd. are the representative and production base of sweet wines in New China, and occupy a leading position in the origin of China's non-European wines in the Chinese wine map. Some industry experts and authorities have said that the wild mountain grapes in the cold regions of the western foothills of Changbai Mountain and the north bank of the Yalu River, represented by Tonghua brand wines, really have the international definition of wine "terroir", so they have concluded that "Tonghua wine producing area represents a model of Chinese wine terroir". With a history of nearly 80 years, Tonghua Wine is the defender and practitioner of this argument, and Tonghua Wine is known as "the leader of sweet wine in China".
