Fragonard is a hardcore perfume king brand located in the southern French city of Grasse.

The Fragonard perfume company was founded in 1926 by Eugene Fuchs in the French city of Grasse. The name of the company is in honour of the French oil painter, his compatriot Jean-Honore Fragonard.

The first Fragonard was born in 1928 by Jean Guichard.

Passed down from generation to generation, the family business has gone from strength to strength. Fragonard products have a classic that has been precipitated over the years, not only perfumes, but also many skin care products, soaps, and solid balms made from well-known raw materials from Grasse, each of which not only exudes a pure fragrance, but also has a variety of effects such as anti-inflammatory, calming, moisturizing and rejuvenating after hundreds of years of research by experts.

In the 70s of the 20th century, Jean-François Cosda, a grandson of an avid art collector, brought together a collection of works related to the history of perfume to create the Musée de la Perfume de Grasse and two museum-style shops in Paris. Whether it is in ancient or modern ways, the essence oil needs to be carefully blended by a perfumer after it is produced. The perfumers, known as "Mr. LeNez", sniff, select, and test a variety of essential oils, and because the sense of smell is dulled after smelling more than three or four scents, it takes hours or even days to test again. Perfumers spend months or even years experimenting with hundreds of scents before experimenting with a recipe. And all this process, just to finally leave a few strands of charming fragrance behind the earlobe of that beautiful woman.

Rose de Mai
