Hangzhou Peace International Convention and Exhibition Center is affiliated to Zhejiang Peace Industry and Trade Group Corporation. Peace Group was established in the 90s of the last century, in the tide of market economy, "peace people" made great efforts, from a single small business to a fixed assets of 800 million yuan. The industry involves logistics and distribution, real estate development, tourism services, market management, exhibition trade, and goods warehousing.

Hangzhou Peace International Convention and Exhibition Center was founded in 1998. In April 2003, on the west side of the original exhibition hall, Zhejiang Agricultural Exhibition Center, a provincial and municipal key project invested and constructed by the Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, was fully completed and put into use, with a total investment of more than 250 million yuan. The exhibition center, composed of new and old exhibition halls, has become the main building of the "Peace Square", a key project of the Hangzhou Municipal Government.

Hangzhou Peace International Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the golden area where four urban traffic arteries (Dongxin Road, Shaoxing Road, Chaowang Road and Jianguo Road) converge in the northeast of the city. The transportation is convenient, the business is prosperous, and the financial, telecommunications and business service systems are complete.

The new hall of Hangzhou Peace International Convention and Exhibition Center (Zhejiang Agricultural Exhibition Center) has a construction area of 61,000 square meters. The supporting 20-storey (partial 21-storey) business building has a construction area of 25,370 square meters. The new hall is integrated with the original 58,000-square-meter exhibition hall and can accommodate 1,100 international standard booths.
