Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center integrates exhibition, conference, business, catering, entertainment and other functions, invested and built by the Shenzhen Municipal Government, entrusted to Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center Management Co., Ltd. to operate, and was officially put into use in 2004. Since its opening in 2004, about 100 exhibitions and more than 1,800 conferences have been held in the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center every year, with an annual exhibition area of more than 2.8 million square meters, ranking among the top counterparts in the country.

Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center is located in the central area of the city, is the largest single building in Shenzhen, covers an area of 220,000 square meters, a total construction area of 280,000 square meters, east and west length of 540 meters, north and south width of 282 meters, the highest point above the ground up to 60 meters, 6 floors above the ground, 2 floors underground, steel structure, glass dome and curtain wall perfect combination, at night under the embellishment of lights, exquisitely clear, has the reputation of "crystal palace".

The hierarchical layout of exhibition, conference and service functions is relatively independent and closely coordinated. The 9 exhibition halls on the first floor are paved into a "U" shape, with an indoor exhibition area of 105,000 square meters, which can accommodate 5,000 international standard booths for large-scale exhibitions. Suspended above the exhibition hall, the conference center has a total of 35 meeting rooms, which are functional, large and small, and can be used as a mid-to-high-end dining venue.
