The company's growth history

In 2014, there were 283 theaters with ticket sales, 31 provinces, municipalities and regions, and a total box office of nearly 11 billion yuan in 13 years

In just 7 months in 2002, the total box office income of China Film Star American Cinema Line Co., Ltd. was nearly 50 million yuan. With the subsequent joining of high-quality theaters, the total box office increased to 95 million yuan in 2003, the overall box office income of 141 million yuan in 2004, and 180 million yuan in 2005. In 2006, the box office of the theater chain continued to increase significantly to 265 million yuan, 364 million yuan in 2007, and 534 million yuan in 2008, ranking first in the national annual box office for three consecutive years. In 2009, the cinema chain grew to 794 million yuan, in 2010, the annual box office exceeded one billion, reaching 1.213 billion yuan, in 2011 the box office revenue was 1.377 billion yuan, in 2012 it achieved a box office performance of 1.62 billion yuan, and in 2013 it hit a new high of 1.838 billion yuan at the box office, and the box office results have been among the best in the country for many years. In 2014, the box office of the theater chain has entered the 2 billion mark, reaching 2.447 billion yuan, ranking second in the country.

From the initial 23 theaters, after just a few years of development, China Film Xingmei Cinema Line Co., Ltd. has rapidly grown into the largest inter-provincial cinema chain in China. By the end of 2014, there were 365 cinemas with 1,751 screens, of which more than 10 were five-star cinemas recognized by the state. The scope spans 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Tianjin, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan, Anhui, Fujian, Hainan, Jiangxi, Hebei, Henan, Shanxi, Jiangsu, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Hunan, Shaanxi, Guizhou, Ningxia, Xinjiang and Tibet. The franchised cinemas have perfect facilities, advanced equipment, superior location and good brand image, and rank in the forefront of the national cinema chain in terms of scale and box office.

Among them, the theaters with a box office of more than 80 million in 2014 are: Shenzhen Jiahe Cinema (82.89 million yuan), Beijing UME International Cinema (Shuangjing Store) (81.84 million yuan); The theaters with a box office of more than 60 million are: Beijing UME Huaxing International Cinema (69.43 million yuan), Beijing Xingmei International Cinema (64.53 million yuan); Theaters with a box office of more than 50 million are: Beijing UME International Cinema (Anzhen Store) (53.91 million yuan), Shanghai Xingmei Zhengda Cinema (51.92 million yuan); Cinemas with an annual box office of more than 40 million are: Chengdu Xingmei International Cinema Universal Store (46.4 million yuan), Shenzhen China Film International Cinema (Happy Coast Store) (45.7 million yuan), Haikou China Film International Cinema (40.06 million yuan).

It unifies the information, funds, people and materials of the cinema for management, maximizes the use of existing resources, maximizes economic benefits, and comprehensively enhances the core competitiveness of the cinema.

Over the past 13 years since its establishment, China Film Star Cinema Line has continuously won awards from the society and the industry. At the end of 2008, China Film Star American Cinema Line successfully completed the excellent performance system model training and won the 2008 Beijing Quality Award selected by the Beijing Quality Association. It is worth mentioning that under the fierce competition of many companies, only two companies won this award. Through continuous improvement of management, we will continue to improve the quality of operation, enhance competitive advantage, and promote the sustained, rapid and healthy development of the company. At the beginning of 2009, China Film Star Cinema also won the 2008 Beijing Quality Management Contribution Award - Outstanding Enterprise Award jointly issued by Beijing Quality Association, Beijing Federation of Trade Unions and Beijing Science and Technology Association.

Cinema investment and construction

While ensuring the provision of high-quality services to the franchised theaters, China Film Star Cinema Line also assisted the two major shareholders in the site selection, negotiation, cinema planning, construction, operation and training of the theaters. In addition, since 2010, China Film Star Art Cinema Line has begun to get involved in cinema investment, and by the end of 2014, the cinema chain has invested in a total of 11 cinemas: Shanghai Star Art Zhengda Cinema, Xi'an China Film International Cinema (Tang West Market Store), Qingdao China Film International Cinema (Chengyang Store), Xiamen China Film Xingmei International Cinema (Robinson Plaza Store), Hefei China Film International Cinema (1912 Store), Zhenjiang China Film International Cinema, Guangzhou China Film International Cinema (Sun City Store), Shenzhen China Film Xingmei International Cinema.

By assisting the two major shareholders in the construction of cinemas and the company's own investment in cinemas, China Film Star Cinema Line has summed up a relatively scientific and perfect control process and rich experience in project investment and construction, reserved sufficient resources of engineering and equipment suppliers, and accumulated rich experience in operation. These valuable experiences have provided more experience and services for many of its franchised theaters in the construction.

In 2015, China Film Star Art Cinema Line will also achieve the opening of cinemas in Beijing, Shanghai, Chongqing, Wuhan, Suzhou, Zhejiang, Hunan and other places.
