Vanke Songhua Lake Resort, located in Jilin City, Jilin Province, is a key tourism project in Jilin Province, the core of Jilin City's tourism strategy, the first mountain-themed resort destination of Vanke Group, and a new landmark of China's mountain resort. Located at the northern foot of Daqing Mountain and on the shore of Songhua Lake, the ski resort has a unique terrain that can meet the needs of international competitions and family vacations at the same time, with a maximum mountain drop of 605 meters. The resort has 28 high-quality slopes with a total length of about 31 kilometers and a ski area of 151 hectares. The average annual ice and snow period in the region is more than 150 days, the average snow thickness can reach about 1 meter normally, the snow quality is excellent, and the ski season is from mid-November to the end of March of the following year, and the average temperature in winter is minus 9.7 °C.
In 2011, based on the world-renowned Colorado ski resort group in North America, Vanke Group introduced world-class ropeways, snow compactors, snowmaking systems and other equipment from Austria, Italy and other countries to build a world-class ski resort with unprecedented ski resort scale, advanced ski equipment and superior natural resources.
