Heilongjiang Yabuli Ski Resort has become a national snow sports training base, where national teams and provincial and municipal teams train every year. In recent years, the Japanese team, the South Korean team, and the Russian team have also come here many times to train and compete. As the only winter training base of the national polar expedition team, since the first session in 1986, we have received more than 30 sessions and more than 1,500 winter trainings, making positive contributions to the country's expedition to Antarctica.

In 2010, the 400-meter standard track and field training ground was completed and opened to the public, making Yabuli a summer sports training place with unique natural conditions in China. In August 2011, the National Athletics Association identified Yabuli Ski Resort as the "National Track and Field Summer Training Base", making Yabuli Ski Resort an all-weather and all-season sports training support base in China.
Yabuli Sports Training Base has six competition venues certified and recognized by the International Ski Federation and the International Biathlon Federation, including alpine, cross-country, biathlon, freestyle, platform jumping and snowboard halfpipe, and has successfully hosted the National Winter Games, the 1996 Asian Winter Games and the 2009 World University Winter Games and other large-scale snow sports comprehensive events and international individual top events for 4 times.
Yabuli Ski Resort has a relatively complete snowmaking system, with a snowmaking pipeline of 20 kilometers and a snowmaking area of 800,000 square meters. It has two world-leading ropeway systems, one is a six-person gondola and four-person chairlift built in 1995, and the other is an eight-person gondola ropeway built in 2016.
