Qiandao Lake, located in Chun'an County, Hangzhou City, is an artificial lake formed in the late 50s of the last century for the construction of the Xin'an River Reservoir. Qiandao Lake is located in the hinterland of the Yangtze River Delta, with 1,078 islands, making it the lake with the largest number of islands in the world.
Qiandao Lake is a tree-shaped lake, and islands of different sizes are densely distributed in the lake. Tourists who want to know the characteristics of Chun'an's ancient architecture must go to Longshan Island. Compared to the central lake area, the southeast lake area has fewer tourists and is quieter.
