Changsha Underwater World-Institutional Reviews

Many people yearn for the ocean, especially for the people of Hunan who are located inland. The establishment of Changsha Underwater World has brought a fantastic underwater world to tourists, and tourists can even experience the fun of intimate contact with marine animals. Parent-child trips, friends gatherings, couples dating, and marriage proposals, Changsha Underwater World can be described as a gathering place for many people's fond memories.

Changsha Underwater World covers an area of about 100 acres, although it is not a huge scale, but there are four major areas: Polar Aquarium, Science and Education Museum, Water Park, and Children's Park, with complete functions. It is not only a large-scale marine science education center in Hunan and a marine science education base in China, but also a film and television shooting base of Hunan Radio and Television Station.

The Polar Aquarium is the theme part of the underwater world of Changsha, and it is also a special venue for tourists to visit. The entire Polar Oceanarium is divided into an oceanarium and a polar pavilion. When visitors enter the Polar Aquarium, the first thing they arrive at is the Aquarium. The aquarium is divided into a freshwater fish area and a saltwater fish area. Visitors can walk along the slightly "potholed" road surface from the tropical rainforest area, the African fish area, and the Chinese fish area to the saltwater fish area. In total, the aquarium displays more than 400 species of creatures, including invertebrates, amphibians, and reptiles. Whenever passing by the colorful exhibition area, visitors can always get a wonderful color experience. In addition to experiencing novelty, the official also set up popular science instructions in each exhibition area, so that visitors can fully understand their biological habits. There is an undersea tunnel in the museum, and visitors can stroll through it as if they are in the underwater world. Visitors are surrounded by a variety of marine creatures, such as large sea turtles and manta rays. Although the official promotion of the undersea tunnel is a show of people swimming together, the form is only a staff feeding the fish in the water, which is not very interesting as a performance. The Polar Aquarium mainly displays polar animals, in addition to beluga whale pool, sea lion pool, dolphin pool, seal pool, penguin pool, otter pool, there are also terrestrial creatures such as Arctic wolf house and Arctic fox house. There are two very cute beluga whales in the beluga whale pond, and many tourists take photos here to commemorate the occasion. When visitors visit the exhibition areas such as the sea lion pond, they may smell some peculiar smells, which is normal. At the end of the Polar Aquarium is the well-equipped performance theater, which is also the place where tourists have the highest expectations. There are 3 performances per day on weekdays and 4 performances per day on weekends. There will be announcements in the hall before the start of the show, and visitors can also refer to the performance schedule provided by the venue. At the Performance Theatre, visitors can see the performances of the aquarium's stars, such as sea lions and dolphins, up close. It is worth mentioning that even if you sit in the first row, you don't have to worry about splashing, so you can safely "grab" your seat.

The Science and Education Hall consists of a science classroom, a biological evolution exhibition hall, a marine animal specimen exhibition hall, and a marine shell specimen exhibition hall. In the museum, through biological specimens, text explanations and other forms, with novel technology displays, the knowledge is vividly taught to every visitor. If you're a marine life enthusiast, this is the place to explore. However, the fun is relatively low, if the child is not interested, you can accompany them to the colorful children's paradise in the science and education museum.

Underwater World also has an outdoor children's playground. It is equipped with children's castles, airplane slides, chain bridges and other amusement facilities for children to play, as well as a golden sand sea, although the overall area is not large, but it is more than enough to accompany children to play.

The cost of the water park is not included in the admission to the underwater world, and guests can purchase a separate ticket or a combination of both. Covering an area of more than 30 acres, the water park has loudspeaker slides, rainbow slides, high-speed rappelling slides, lazy rivers and other amusement areas, which are very suitable for parent-child play and are also an excellent choice for summer vacations in Changsha.
