When it comes to jagged coffee, many people will think of its founder, Wang Sen. Wang Sen founded the first jagged café in Beijing in 2007 and published "Just Want to Open a Little Café" in 2012, which has since become a best-selling book and many readers have visited the café. Taking advantage of this craze, Wang Sen has opened more than a dozen branches in China, but the survival rate is not high. At present, there are only three Zangcha Coffee in Wuhan, but the managers of the three Zangcha are different.
Affordability doesn't mean barista is any lower. The barista is rigorous, weighing, measuring the temperature of the water, cleaning the utensils, and completing the brewing process. Sitting at the bar, the barista invites guests to taste the different aromas of the coffee before and after brewing, and the fruit and nutty flavor of the ground coffee burst out after grinding, which is completely different from the aroma of the brewed coffee. In the summer, the barista divides the single origin coffee ordered by the guests into two parts, one hot and one hot for the guests to taste. Guests can quench their thirst with iced coffee followed by hot coffee. The program is doubled, but the price has not changed.
The coffee latte is the star drink of the store. With the "wild boar" blend beans launched by the jagged roastery as the base, after combining with milk, the sweetness of the milk itself is perfectly combined with the caramel glycol and chocolate bitterness brought by the wild boar blend, which has a long aftertaste and attracts many repeat customers. In addition to coffee, black tea latte is also one of the recommended drinks. Black tea and hot milk are perfectly combined in a siphon pot, and the taste is more fragrant than ordinary brewing. The brownie is handmade by the barista and has just the right amount of moisture and chocolate flavor but slightly sweeter.
The Jagged Coffee Park shop is hidden in the park, and the park is no longer lively, but the winding path is quiet and the environment is very good. The café looks like a florist from the outside, and lives up to the title of "back garden". The wooden beams, painted green many years ago, are now old and mottled. The green gate has long since peeled off and turned white, reflecting the green beams. Guests feel like they are in a small café that has been open for decades in Taiwan or Japan, and the slightly old-fashioned furniture and furnishings shorten the distance between guests and the café. The owner is the barista in the store, who is very friendly and often has a good conversation with customers. The fly in the ointment is that the in-store menu has not been changed for a long time, and many items are no longer available.
