Suxian Valley is located in Suxian Village on the south side of Qingcheng Mountain, and is a courtyard built on the mountainside. The courtyard is hidden in the dense mountain forest, and a mountain stream flows beside it, which is quite secluded.
There are a total of 14 rooms in Suxian Valley, eight of which form a courtyard house. From the outside, the courtyard houses are indistinguishable from ordinary houses: the doors and windows are all wooden, the roof is covered with tiles, and lanterns are hung under the eaves. A few plants are planted in the center of the courtyard, and the zither is placed on the homestay, and the B&B invites the kite player to play music and perform from time to time. In addition, there are six single-family wooden houses with a view of the Suxian Valley, which are scattered on the hillside behind the courtyard. It is called a room with a view because each room has a terrace with a view, and chairs and tea tables are placed on the terrace for guests to enjoy tea and rest. The terraces vary from room to room, with some facing the mountains and others overlooking the valley, but either one has an open view of the mountains. There are four types of rooms: double, twin, tatami and loft twin.
There are no electronic devices in the rooms of Suxian Valley, but fortunately, there are many places to pass the time near the folk customs. Walk through the courtyard and climb up the stone steps for a while to the tea room of the guesthouse. The tea room is built with a glass curtain wall on all sides, and several rows of bookshelves filled with books. Tea leaves are not precious, but the water used to make them comes from local springs, which is widely acclaimed. However, as we all know, clear spring water does not mean it is safe, and it is important to make sure that the spring water is boiled before brewing.
The stream leads to the top of the hill, where many unknown plants are found, and the occasional small animal such as a squirrel can be seen. The top of the mountain can overlook the entire Qingcheng Mountain, and it is also an excellent place to watch the sunrise and sunset. At night, swarms of fireflies sometimes appear in the mountains and forests, and the scene is magnificent.
Breakfast and meals are included in the room rate and are made with fresh and healthy ingredients, mostly from the owner's own organic vegetables and poultry. If you enter the fairy valley in spring, you must try the fresh bamboo shoots and dandelion baked eggs unique to the homestay, which can be described as full of rural flavor.
At present, the B&B only provides WeChat public account reservations, and guests can understand and consult in advance. The B&B is located in the middle of the mountain, the location is remote, it is best to pay attention to the signs on the mountain road when visiting, in addition, the temperature on the mountain is low, and guests should also pay attention to prevent colds.
