Anren Ancient Town is located in Dayi County, the ancient town has a long history, and has been awarded the title of "Chinese Museum Town" by the Chinese Museums Association. The predecessor of Mingxuan Bookstore was Gao Mingxuan Mansion, which was built in 1945. The bookstore retains the typical structure of ancient houses in western Sichuan with three entrances and two courtyards, with black lacquered wooden doors, ink walls and green tiles, a few plum trees planted in the courtyard, and long tables and chairs are placed. The inn is divided into two courtyards, the front and the back, and the hall connecting the courtyard is designed as a calligraphy corridor, and the four treasures of the study room are complete, and guests can suck ink and lick a millimeter here. The front hall of the inn is a small bookstore, several rows of large bookshelves are erected against the wall, piled up with nearly a thousand books, in addition to the literature that accounts for the majority, there are many books that interpret the history and culture of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China, if you are interested in Anren Ancient Town, you can also find relevant books here. There are more than a dozen seats in the study room to form a reading area, where you can read a book or sit and rest.
The inn has a total of 10 rooms, divided into single rooms, double rooms, tatami rooms, there are books on the bedside, and the rooms are named Songyun, Yimei, etc., revealing the bookish atmosphere. Although it is difficult to reproduce the luxury of 70 years ago in the room layout, the antique Republic of China furniture such as mahogany carved dressers, all-copper bedside lamps, and sheet beds can also make people feel the atmosphere of the old times. It should be noted that there is no TV in the room, which is not convenient for many guests. All in all, the facilities of Ming Xuan Bookstore are not advantageous.
The inn's restaurant only serves a buffet breakfast, and guests can choose from restaurants around the inn. The inn is located in the ancient town, and for guests, visiting the ancient town, seeing historical sites, visiting museums and other entertainment activities are all good entertainment.
