Opened in 2007, the bar is a low-key and rugged venue for local independent musicians. Due to space constraints, the performances here tend to be niche, but many of the performers are big names in their respective circles, such as Beijing punk band Dulekka, Dutch hardcore punk band Neuroot and Russian reggae singer Steppa Style.

At present, the frequency of special performances at Jiaba is about 5-6 per month, most of which are concentrated on Friday and Saturday nights, and no tickets are required on weekdays. Even if it's not a special performance day, there is no shortage of performers on stage. Jam is the hallmark of the city, and every night, musicians from all walks of life improvise a variety of styles such as punk, hip-hop, jazz, reggaeton, folk, and more. Although the sound and stage equipment are not outstanding, the distance between the fans and the musicians, under the crimson LED lights, allows the two sides to interact and immerse themselves in the music.

Even if it doesn't come as a show, the lineup of the bar is above the passing line. There are a large number of bottles of beer, whiskey and bullet wine, and in winter, there are special mulled wine and boiled Huadiao wine, etc., but the base wine of the cocktail is slightly lighter, but combined with its price of about 40 yuan, it is decent. The bar focuses on affordable consumption, and the service is in a "semi-self-service" state, and guests need to go to the counter to handle the seating, ordering and checkout.
