Qingyue Vietnamese Cuisine - Merchant Reviews

Qingyue and Shang Lian Thai Cuisine are both brands of LIAN Dinning Restaurant Group.

In terms of the variety of dishes, although Qingyue focuses on Vietnamese cuisine, in fact, except for the representative dish of Vietnamese rice paper rolls, the rest of the dishes are the same as Shang Lian, and there are also Thai dishes such as Tom Yum Soup, Pineapple Rice, Stir-fried Crab with Yellow Curry and Charcoal-grilled Lemongrass Pork Neck. The quality and price of most of the dishes at the two restaurants are also comparable, such as 48 yuan for a single serving of tom yum gong soup and 68 yuan per serving of charcoal-roasted lemongrass pork neck. The only difference is only in high-end dishes such as fried crab and fried prawns, and Shanglian's production is slightly ahead of Qingyue, the quality of the ingredients is higher, and the price is also 20-30 yuan higher on average.

If you're looking for an authentic taste of Vietnamese cuisine, the signature rice paper rolls may be the best choice. The rice paper roll is thin and transparent, and there are two kinds of fillings: fish and crab are available: the fish filling is rolled into the fried dragon fish fillet, which has a crispy taste; The crab stuffing is made of boiled soft-shell crab meat and a variety of fresh vegetables, which is nutritious and refreshing. Vietnamese spring rolls are similar to deep-fried rice paper rolls, the outer layer of the roll skin has been fried until browned, but the oil flavor is too strong, and it is best eaten with lettuce.

Qingyue is located on the first floor of Taikoo Li, and upstairs is Shang Lian Cuisine. The decoration of the two stores is slightly different, Shang Lian highlights elegance with purple, while Qingyue highlights freshness with blue, and the lobby is decorated with gold and copper long lamps, which has a touch of petty bourgeoisie in the antique atmosphere. The spacing between tables and chairs in the restaurant is narrow, there is basically no privacy between adjacent tables, and the two-person table is also small, and the dishes are more crowded. The quality of the service staff is not bad, they have a detailed understanding of the dishes, and they will patiently answer every question raised by customers.
