Opened in 2016, one of its shareholders is Wong Leng Chung from Hong Kong. Wong Ling-chung came to Chengdu as early as 1990 and became one of the first Hong Kong businessmen to invest in real estate in Chengdu. In 2011, he also opened a tea restaurant in Chengdu - Hong Kong and Kowloon Tea Restaurant, which now has several branches and is well-known in Chengdu. Since its opening, Jizhan has been unanimously affirmed by the industry and diners, and has received rave reviews.

Jizhan's sushi is widely praised by Chengdu diners, and even the Japanese manager of Tokyo Beef Dining is praised for its sushi that is closest to the taste of Japan in Chengdu. The sushi rice used in Yoshichan is Koshihikari rice, which is produced in Dandong, Liaoning Province, not imported. Koshihikari rice is a household name in Japan and is known as one of the representatives of high-quality rice, and Koshihikari rice produced in Niigata Prefecture is the most prestigious. However, China banned the import of Japanese rice in February 2003 due to quarantine issues, and although the permission to import Japanese rice has been gradually relaxed, it is still scarce and expensive.

In China, there are areas where Koshihikari rice varieties have been introduced, and the Koshihikari rice grown in the Donggang area of Dandong, Liaoning Province, is of the highest quality, because it is located at the same latitude as Niigata Prefecture, where it originates in Japan, and has a similar climate and environment. On the basis of maintaining the fragrant and soft rice itself, the domestic Koshihikari rice has a tougher taste, which meets the taste needs of Chinese diners. Jizhan's sushi is rarely fresh and mostly cooked, which is also related to the difficulty of seafood preservation and transportation in the deep inland of Chengdu. However, the quality of the ingredients served is high and the portions are plentiful, and the conger eel sushi, grilled salmon belly sushi, grilled beef eye sushi, sweet shrimp sushi, and flying fish roe warship are all popular items in the store.

Not only sushi rice, but also Jichan seeks the best food supply chain in and around Chengdu under limited conditions. For example, the eggs in the store come from farms in Qianwei County, and the high-quality black pigs, South African Porti sheep and five black chickens are selected as the restaurant's meat ingredients. The restaurant is equipped with original Japanese Hoshizaki freezers, which can achieve -60° ultra-low temperature freezing, and seafood ingredients are regularly delivered to the store. The store is equipped with a complete water purification system to ensure water quality.

The manager of Yoshinan describes his shop as a "Japanese tea restaurant", and the Japanese cuisine served in the restaurant is mainly home-style and cost-effective. The interior of the store is clean and bright, with a decent design, with a bar counter and a regular table on the first floor, and a private room on the second floor, which can accommodate about 20 people at the same time. Jizhan service is in place, and the store manager often comes to the store to serve customers in person. Located in Lan Kwai Fong, Chengdu, a commercial district set up by Hong Kong's Lan Kwai Fong Group in the mainland, Jizhan has become a fashion landmark in Chengdu and one of the gathering places for young people in Chengdu.
