Other cultural and creative products include mobile phone cases, tableware, polaroids, ceramic ornaments, etc., in addition, the bookstore also sells many electronic products such as kindles, headphones, speakers and so on. G· Takaya's books are characterized by a large number of imported books, most of which come from Japan, which are supplied directly by Tsutaya Shoten. There are also many foreign magazines in the bookstore, such as "DAZED", "Frankie", "Switch", "Monocle", "Gather", etc., covering fashion, food, finance, animation and other fields. In addition to foreign books, there is also no shortage of books published in mainland China, including literature, art, design and other categories. In terms of details, G· There is still a lot of room for improvement in Takaya, the bookstore has few sample books, and there is no clear label for the books, the classification is confusing, it is inconvenient for readers to find books, and the bookstore has not set up enough reading places.
G· Takaya holds an annual book and magazine exhibition. At the inaugural magazine exhibition in 2017, G· Takaya invited Taiwan's well-known lifestyle magazines "Little Day" and "Saury" to help set up an exclusive booth. In 2018, G· Takaya exhibited a number of books in external editions, such as "SUBTLE" by Japanese designer Kenya Hara, "Erwin Olaf: Volume II" by Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf, and "Breakfast at Tiffany's" by American writer Truman Capote. In addition to the book and magazine exhibition, G· Takaya also holds other events from time to time, such as stationery exhibitions, illustration exhibitions, lectures by famous artists, live performances, etc.
G· Takaya has a total of three stores in Nanjing, and the flagship store is located in Hexi Golden Eagle World, with a total of 1,800 square meters, divided into two floors. In addition, the flagship store has a separate children's area for parents to read with. The three bookstores are all located in the mall, with a large flow of people, a noisy environment, and a poor reading experience.
