Slow Taste - Merchant Reviews

Slow Dining Zhiwei is a bookstore where you can drink alcohol and a café that can hold events, and it has a wide audience because of its variety of characters and literary atmosphere. It is also the earliest craft beer bar in Suzhou, and since it opened in 2013, Slow Taste has been offering craft beer.

The wide variety of bottled beers is the hallmark of the wine list. It has more than 200 bottled beers and four draft beers, which are not available during the off-season. The Founder Century IPA is a craft bottle beer that is often recommended by Slow Food, this wine has a golden brown body and is clear and translucent. The foam is thick and the hanging cup lasts. The smell is roasted malt and citrus. It's smooth and crisp in the mouth, the sweetness of the fruit belies the bitterness, and the balance is very good, making it a great summer drink. The Eight Strange Stouts is a high-alcohol beer in the store. It is a deep-bodied wine with little foam but a very fine texture. When you open the bottle, you will have a fruity aroma, which is very different from the usual imperial stouts. It is a thick-bodied, yet smooth, moderately bitter and acidic wine, with a 10% alcohol content suppressed just right, and the average drinker will feel slightly drunk if he is not paying attention. In addition to craft beer, the store also offers a wide range of dishes such as whiskey, cocktails, coffee, beef noodles, snacks, and more.

The interior environment of the slow and intellectual taste is full of literary and artistic atmosphere. The signboard with black letters on a white background is very simple and very conspicuous on the roadside. It has two floors, the first floor is a bar and the second floor is a book bar. On the first floor, the large bottle caps hanging from the wall highlight its status as a craft beer bar, and the two large wine cabinets on the wall are filled with more than 200 kinds of beer. The second floor wall is blue and white, the wall is full of all kinds of books, and a few pots of green plants decorate it with a full literary style.

Service is not a shortcoming. The waiter is enthusiastic, answering all questions and requests, and the degree of professionalism is not bad at all. If you're lucky, you'll be able to get a discount on some of the expiring wines, which is a great deal.
