Taixing Restaurant - Institutional Reviews

After the closure of Cuihua restaurant in Gongshu District in August 2016, Taixing had one less strong rival in Hangzhou. Taixing restaurants have branches all over the country, and the taste of Taixing outside South China will inevitably be discounted, but it is also impossible to find fault with it, and it can be regarded as a tepid and stable player.

Founded in 1989 by Chan Wing-on, Hong Kong Tai Hing Restaurant Group was formerly a Hong Kong-style siu-mei fast food restaurant, and has developed into a well-known large-scale restaurant chain. Taixing has a number of brands such as Chamu, Reliable, Fishery and Animal Husbandry, Miyazaki, Tokyo Tsukiji Canteen, Jinli, Huimian 1950, and Wenhua Ice Hall, among which Reliable has been recommended by Michelin for seven consecutive years, and is a boutique porridge and noodle restaurant.

Tai Hing has won the Silver Award in the Biggest Gastronomy Award by the Hong Kong Tourism Board for several times, the "Gold Award for the Most Memorable Restaurant" in the New Holiday Weekly Must-Eat Restaurant Awards for 5 consecutive years, the "Favorite Tea Restaurant" in the U Magazine My Favourite Restaurant Awards for 9 consecutive years, and the Quality Restaurant Certification by the HKTB for 10 consecutive years. Tai Hing not only cooperated with Hong Kong Airlines to launch business meals, but also launched canned Hong Kong-style milk tea for Cathay Dragon's flights.

All branches of Taixing are directly operated, no franchise, and the menu in the same area is exactly the same. Tai Hing has a central production and logistics centre of more than 80,000 square feet in Hong Kong, which is responsible for handling the production of siu-mei and producing stable products. Of course, the products produced in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai are certainly not at the same level as those in South China.

Taixing's top ten famous dishes are well-known at home and abroad, namely: iced milk tea, five-star roast pork, eight-star annunciation, roast goose in the open furnace, top luncheon meat and egg doll noodles, secret thick toast, aftertaste pineapple grunt pork, broccoli and a bite of beef tenderloin, fragrant Xingzhou rice, and beef tenderloin shredded Swiss juice wet fried river. From the menu, you can directly see the pictures of the finished dishes, and the appearance and taste of the products are not bad. Some diners say that the Hangzhou restaurant is not as good as Hong Kong, which is true. Hong Kong's raw materials have significant advantages over Hangzhou, and the flavor and spices are more exquisite. Although there is a gap, in Hangzhou, if Taixing can't be ranked well, then other restaurants are even more out of the picture.

Taixing has several branches in Hangzhou, except for the Vientiane City store, the rest of Taixing's decoration style is consistent, purple façade, black and white floor tiles, clean and tidy white tables, and soft leather card seats are comfortable; There will be a baked bun window at the door, which is very in line with the imagination of people in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai for Hong Kong-style tea restaurants. The trusted choice is the most recommended Vientiane City store, which is mainly decorated with gold metal, eye-catching and fashionable, shining, and has departed from the simple and simple impression of the tea restaurant.

Hong Kong Tai Hing was awarded the 5-Permanent Law certification in 2002 and its service quality has been highly recognized. In contrast, Hong Kong's service is much higher than that of the mainland, while Hangzhou's service is only mediocre, diligent but indifferent. Taixing's Hangzhou branch is not satisfactory because of the discounts compared to South China. Generally, there is no need to wait for a seat, so you might as well buy a pineapple oil to try when passing by.
