Peng Kitchen is a subsidiary of Hunan Peng Cannon Catering Management Co., Ltd., the first Peng Kitchen restaurant opened in Changsha in 2010, and has become one of the more popular Hunan restaurants in the local area. Later, with its novel business model and authentic taste, it grew rapidly and grew into one of the most influential Hunan cuisine restaurants in the country, and was rated as a famous trademark and the most popular restaurant in Hunan Province in 2013. Peng Kitchen has a large number of chain branches, with hundreds of direct and franchised stores across the country, and currently has two stores in Hangzhou, among which the Zhaohui store is more prominent in scale and popularity.

Peng's kitchen has a wide variety of dishes, including Hunan cold dishes, steamed dishes, stir-fried dishes and other authentic dishes. In the stir-fry series, a fragrant 18-second raw fried beef, cut into thin slices of tender beef, and stir-fried in 18 seconds with chili pepper and garlic and other seasonings. The restaurant claims that the ingredients of the Peng Kitchen branch across the country are purchased, distributed and transported by the Changsha headquarters, and the actual ingredients used will still be adjusted according to local conditions. With the founder Peng Dacang as the spokesperson, whether it is the restaurant promotional poster or the menu, it is printed with the image of the founder, which gradually left a deep impression on diners and has become one of the representative symbols of the restaurant brand.

Zhaohui store has a large area, the store adopts a courtyard layout with Huxiang cultural characteristics, divided into different partitions, and the matching of various lighting and flower branches creates a warm and elegant dining atmosphere, and the seats are relatively spacious. The restaurant has seven private dining rooms, two of which are interconnecting and can accommodate up to 30 people, with advance reservations required. The restaurant uses scanning code ordering, but the ordering system is slightly sluggish and sometimes malfunctioning, so you can ask the waiter to help you order manually. The number of waiters in the restaurant is sufficient, and they can basically respond to requests, and the meals are a little busy and cramped when there are many people, so diners need to wait patiently.

In Hangzhou, where the overall level of Hunan restaurants is sluggish, Peng Kitchen ranks second in Hangzhou Hunan restaurants with its strong chain background and opening scale. However, due to the fluctuation of the production level between the franchised stores, the menu mode is fixed, and the overall level is in the middle, there is a feeling of choosing a tall one among the short.
