UME International Cinema is a cinema brand invested and built by Mr. Wu Siyuan, president of the Hong Kong Filmmakers Association and a famous director. UME is an abbreviation for "Ultimate Movie Experience", which means "Ultimate, Movie, Experience".
Opened in December 2013, Shanghai UME International Cinema Baoshan Branch covers an area of nearly 5,000 square meters and is one of the first five-star cinemas in Shanghai. The cinema is located on the 4th floor of Noah Xintiandi D area, you can see a small ticket window when you enter the mall, and the elevator that goes straight to the fourth floor is not easy to find, and you still need to walk a long distance to reach the theater hall after reaching the fourth floor, which is not very convenient.
The front hall of the cinema is large but poorly lit, which makes the environment look old. The No. 1 cinema hall is a giant screen hall in China, with a width of 24 meters, a height of 15 meters, an area of 350 square meters, and equipped with Dolby Atmos, the world's most advanced American top brand RealdD 6FL high-brightness 3D projection equipment, two Barco 4K projectors, can accommodate 443 people at the same time.
The cinema also has a 4D experience hall and a VIP lounge, which are more diverse than the Pearl of the Sea International Cinema. The seat design of the cinema hall is based on the principle of "high slope, no covering, low viewpoint, and wide row distance", and the viewing experience is more comfortable.
