Founded in 1996, Beijing Royal School is the first Sino-Western joint venture school in Beijing, with multiple grades from kindergarten to high school, located in Wangfu Street, Changping District, recruiting Chinese and foreign students, and is a well-known old aristocratic school in Beijing.

Teachers and hardware facilities are the strength of the palace, the school teachers from English-speaking countries with teaching licenses, returnees from prestigious universities master's and doctoral degrees, and domestic outstanding bilingual teachers, and the palace will send teachers to study in top foreign universities every year, including Harvard University, etc., the faculty is very strong. In terms of hardware, the school is not far behind, with a library, indoor gymnasium, gymnasium, table tennis center, swimming pool, dance classroom, football field, biochemistry laboratory, talent and talent art center, model United Nations and other teaching facilities. When admitting students, the school will arrange entrance exams, and use the admission results as a reference to divide students into classes, which also leads to uneven levels of students and unsatisfactory learning style. If you are placed in the top class when you enter the school, the learning atmosphere will be much better than that of the ordinary class, and the teaching resources will be much richer. Generally speaking, the school provides students with relatively complete software and hardware, but the overall level of students is not high, if they are divided into ordinary classes, and the children themselves do not have strong self-discipline, it is estimated that it is difficult to meet the expectations of graduation results.

In the 2017 high school application results for undergraduate studies in the United States, Beijing Royal School did not perform outstandingly, without top universities such as Ivy League schools and Top 10 universities, but within the scope of the Top 30 and Top 50 universities in the United States, the number of offers received by Beijing Royal School ranked first among private international schools, far exceeding other private schools. It needs to be taken into account that the number of graduates of the royal school is already higher than that of most private schools, so it still needs to be investigated.

In 2017, for example, the annual tuition fee for the high school was 170,000 yuan, the junior high school was about 130,000 yuan, and the primary school was less than 100,000 yuan.
