Many celebrities came here to dine and leave ink treasures with their brushes. Zhang Daqian, a famous master of Chinese painting, painted "Watching Ducks" for him, and Pu Jie, the younger brother of Pu Yi, the emperor of the late Qing Dynasty, inscribed a plaque of "Yuhuatai" for him. Because the business is too good, Yuhuatai has experienced several relocation and expansion, but there are always many old customers to follow, including Mei Lanfang, Qi Baishi, and Dong Shouping. 

Yuhuatai Restaurant is famous for its ability to cook fish, shrimp and crabs, and Huaiyang cuisine is its main cuisine. Yuhuatai Restaurant's town dish is dry-roasted yellow croaker. Dry roasting is a thick cooking method, but the difference is that Yuhuatai has improved it to reduce the proportion of salty and spicy, and increase freshness and sweetness.
