The Green River Private Banquet and the more famous Jazz.ya and Hashiba izakaya in Beijing are all operated by the same owner. Jazz.ya is a Japanese-style bar that has been in operation in Beijing for about 20 years, while Hashiba Izakaya is also very popular, which evolved from the once famous Hashiba Izakaya. Midorikawa Private Banquet is a relatively orthodox mid-to-high-end Japanese restaurant among the three. The predecessor of Midorikawa Private Banquet was Midorikawa Sushi, named after the invited Japanese chef Midorikawa Yoshiki, Midorikawa Sushi opened in 2009 and was quite popular in the Beijing Japanese restaurant circle at the time. Later, Midorikawa Sushi in Sanlitun was renamed Midorikawa Private Banquet, which specializes in authentic Japanese cuisine such as sushi and sashimi, and the chef is still Midorikawa Yoshiki, and it is popular among diners because of its warm hospitality and modesty. Although Midorikawa Private Banquet is positioned as a mid-to-high-end restaurant that produces set Japanese food, its pricing is popular and accepted by most diners. The set meal of the Green River private banquet is about 500 yuan per person, and the quality of the ingredients can be maintained at a high level, and the menu is updated from time to time. The Green River Private Banquet is a boutique with simple beige-painted walls with wooden doors and warm curtains, which is very low-key compared to the surrounding neon-lit streets of Sanlitun. The restaurant is divided into two floors, with a bar that can accommodate five or six people on the first floor and four private rooms on the second floor. The color of the restaurant is warm yellow, decorated with rockeries and flowing water, and the tableware is customized from a famous Japanese kiln factory. Reservations are recommended as seats are limited.
