Tanwan - Merchant Reviews

Among the high-end Japanese cuisine, Nadaman is never absent. Nadaman has always enjoyed high praise in the Japanese food industry, and when Japanese government leaders go abroad or receive foreign guests, Nadaman cuisine is used. Founded in 1830, Nadaman is a long-established Japanese restaurant that currently has the well-known Asahi Beer as the majority shareholder behind it. Nadaman overseas branches are mainly concentrated in Asia, especially China, and there are Nadaman branches in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.

As early as 1997, Tanwan entered the China World Hotel in Beijing, which is a long-established luxury restaurant in Beijing. At the beginning of 2011, Tanwan moved to China World Summit Wing, the highest hotel in Beijing, and has maintained a consistent level of operation until now. There is no shortage of excellent chefs, and the current head chef of Beijing Tanwan is Tang Ze Hongming, who joined the Nataman Group in 2001 and has worked in Nataman restaurants in Tokyo and Kuala Lumpur. In addition, there is a lot of interacting with chefs within the Nadaman Group, and guest chefs often come to the restaurant to perform, so you can enjoy the products of Japan's best chefs even when you are outside of Japan.

Another thing that Nadaman is not lacking in is high-quality ingredients. Here, you can eat the best A5 Wagyu beef, as well as a high-quality assorted sashimi platter, and the sushi is also very good in Japanese cuisine in Beijing. Beijing Tanwan is mainly kaiseki cuisine, and the menu changes every month, but you can also order a la carte according to your needs. In addition, Nadaman can also provide private menu design, which can be customized to add special ingredients according to the customer's requirements.

Good food must be good wine. There is a whole wall of sake storage cabinets in the hallway at the entrance, and dozens of high-end Japanese sake are displayed in the lockers, which are enough to attract the eye visually. In addition to well-known sake brands such as Sessai and Sanssa, there are also sake brands that have won gold medals at international sake competitions, such as Toko, Ryuse, and Kamikimoto.

As a luxury restaurant, Nadaman has a very different decoration from a small Japanese restaurant, with a red and black main tone in the lobby, and a tree with a strong sense of design in the center, branches extending from the ceiling, and black chandeliers extending above each table, giving it a modern look. You can also see the busy Jianguomen street scene by the window. This is very special in Nadaman Restaurant, which has always been Japanese-style. In addition, Beijing Tanwan has six iron plate private rooms and regular private rooms of different sizes and styles named after peach blossoms, chrysanthemums, peonies, plums, cherry blossoms and orchids. Therefore, Beijing Tan Wan Japanese Restaurant has a strong function, which is very suitable for business banquets and year-end parties.

In comparison, the Japanese restaurant Nishimura at Shangri-La Hotel, Beijing, which is also part of the Shangri-La Group, is inferior, so it is not recommended in this list.
