The biggest advantage of green bamboo gouache is that the grinding diameter of the particles is less than 35μm, and the texture is soft and easy to dip, which is already a quality worth boasting in China. However, the defects of drying too quickly and not being resistant to storage have also been criticized, and it is necessary to do a good job of moisturizing every day, otherwise it is easy to crack. The most popular gouache in green bamboo is 100ml and 300ml canned gouache, the pigment concentration and saturation are not low, close to Marley's advertising gouache, but they are sold for 8 yuan and 20 yuan respectively, which is more than 2 times more expensive than Marley.
In the jelly gouache, green bamboo also has a high-grade gray for the national art examination, in addition, compared with Mia's brightness, the main color of green bamboo is also grayish as a whole, and it will continue to turn gray after drying. In this regard, Shandong's Wencui is often named along with Qingzhu, but Wencui turns gray faster and more severely, which has a greater impact on the test painting. Another well-known brand, Meibang, is closer to acrylic paint in gouache, with a gelatinous surface and low saturation, which is not recommended. The price of green bamboo jelly gouache is slightly higher than that of Meiya, about 1.5 yuan for 30ml and 5.5 yuan for 100ml.
In 2005, Qingzhu also launched formaldehyde-free gouache pigments, suitable for children to know the color, do not eat by mistake, 100ml sold for 5.5 yuan.
