Founded at the end of the 19th century, the company was known for its high-quality hiking glasses in its early days. In the 40s of the 20th century, as skiing became more and more popular in Europe, Cébé entered the fast lane of development. After entering the 21st century, it was acquired by Bushnell Outdoor Products in the United States, and its products are sold in more than 30 countries, and the production line is also greatly enriched. In terms of snow helmets, its one-piece helmet has done a relatively good job, and the main sales market is currently European countries.
In Cébé's product logic, the aesthetic priority is quite high, taking Atmosphere 2.0 as an example, the matte case of PC material is evenly distributed with 7 adjustable vents, the overall line is rounded, and the brand lettering on the side is not highlighted with bright colors like most brands, but chooses black with little contrast with the color of the shell. There are not many other aspects that stand out, and as a 400g lightweight helmet, the price of $122.5 is not too eye-catching for consumers.
When it comes to all-in-one snow helmets, the Element Visor and Fireball are both great options. The main difference between the two all-in-one helmets is the shell, with the Element Visor made of ABS and the Fireball made of pure PC. The former is more puncture-resistant, but weighs 650g, while the latter controls the weight to less than 500g through a discount on safety performance. Prices are $181 and $192, respectively.
Like the Uvex, Cébé has been slow to follow up technically, and so far none of the helmets have been equipped with MIPS or similar systems.
