Dayang is a well-known manufacturer of four-wheeled electric vehicles. However, in the field of two-wheeled electric vehicles, due to the lack of cost performance and the saturation of the products of the head manufacturers, several of its products under the name of "Dayang" have little response, and Dayang has rebuilt a high-end electric motorcycle brand and named it E-guest. Since the release of the first generation of products in 2017, E-Ke has focused on the high-end market, and the price of its models is close to 10,000 yuan. The daunting price has made E-Ke get a lot of criticism in China, but it may not be there. In 2018, E-Ke participated in the German International Motorcycle Scooter and Bicycle Expo, and announced that all its models have passed the internationally recognized EU E-Mark certification, in line with the EU L1e (two-wheeled moped with a maximum speed of less than 45km/h) and L3e (two-wheeled motorcycle with a maximum speed of more than 45km/h) standards, and made efforts in the international market.
E1 is the only series currently launched by E-Ke, except for the corners are more rounded, the rest of the appearance is no different from the general turtle shell car, but in fact, it has the highest configuration in the current domestic two-wheel electric motorcycle. The E1R Gates motor priced at 11,000 yuan has a power of up to 3,500W, and with a 60V/40AH lithium battery, it can reach a maximum speed of more than 80km/h, with a nominal maximum range of 110km, and can actually travel about 75km at a speed of 40km/h. In addition to its blazing speed, the single-arm suspension is also a feature of the E1 R. This system connects the body and wheels with a single cantilever to increase aesthetics, reduce vehicle weight, and increase handling, but is rarely used in electric vehicles due to its high requirements for material properties. The E-passenger added forged aluminum alloy to the material, which increased the strength and stiffness of the cantilever, and finally made the vehicle structure more streamlined.
The price of E1 PLUS and E1 S is about 2000 yuan lower than that of E1R, and the price difference is mainly reflected in the cruising range, and the rest of the functions are not much different. The E1 Lite motor power priced at 6600 yuan is 2500W, and the top speed has decreased, but it still exceeds the Maverick M urban version, and it will still be the fastest batch of electric motorcycles on urban roads. However, the front and rear suspension travel of this model is short, especially when the rear wheel is heavily loaded, the shock barrel is almost dragged to the bottom, which is a big flaw for an electric motorcycle known for its performance.
The E1 series is powerful, but the problem of insufficient range has been noticed by manufacturers. In the E2 series, which will be released in 2019, the top-of-the-line model will use a dual-electric solution like the Suke TC, that is, it will be equipped with an additional battery compartment to double the range, but the price will naturally rise.
