Recommended series: Beco 8, Beco Gemeni, Beco Cool, Beco Organic
Beco is a native American brand, all carriers are IHDI certified, and have won many maternal and child awards such as iParenting Media Award Winner, Parent Tested, Parent Approved Winner, etc., but the pace of internationalization is relatively slow, and it was acquired by Boba in 2016.
Beco's range of harnesses is not extensive, and all models are based on the patented Beco Gemeni with minor improvements. Available in four carrying positions, the Beco Gemeni can be used from the newborn stage without accessories, is made from 100% cotton, but has no dual-purpose ventilated back panel and a slightly more modest leg adjustment for just $150. On top of Beco Gemeni, there is the Beco Organic collection with Gots certified organic cotton and the Beco cool collection with 3D breathable fabrics, which also cost only about $150.
The new Beco 8 series adds a dual-purpose ventilated back panel to the Beco Gemeni, with thick shoulders and cross-stance, and comes with newborn accessories for extra comfort for little ones, priced at about $180. For older children over 18 months, the Toddler series is recommended for more weight capacity, which costs about $160. However, Beco is not sold in China, and all products need to be purchased overseas or purchased on behalf of others.
