Vorwerk is a well-established German electrical appliance manufacturer with a history of more than 130 years. Vorwerk focuses on vacuum cleaners and has a certain position in the global market. In 2010, Vorwerk bought shares in Neato and began to enter the sweeping robot industry. In September 2017, Vorwerk fully acquired Neato, maintaining the independent operation of the two brands after the acquisition.
 
Vorwerk has only one robot vacuum, the VR200, which is very similar to Neato's D-shaped appearance. Although it has been on the market for several years, the VR200 is still strong. VR200 adopts V-shaped main brush, accurate laser ranging planning, and cleaning ability is not inferior to iRobot and Dyson. In the evaluation of the Shanghai Consumer Association, the cleaning capacity and coverage of Vorwerk VR200 are at the upstream level. However, its dust box is only 0.3L, and users need to empty the dust box frequently.
 
As an old product launched in 2014, the VR200 priced at 6000 yuan does not support APP control, and the intelligence is insufficient. Compared to the new iRobot and Neato products with full functions, the VR200 is less cost-effective.
