However, with the influx of international brands and the efforts of other domestic giant brands, Meiling's revenue is not stable, and it has shown a rollercoaster wave in recent years. China Business News reported that from 2015 to 2017, Meiling's net profit changed by -91%, 712% and -85% year-on-year. In terms of refrigerators, Meiling maintains the top five sales share in the industry.
 
Meiling has a greater price advantage in the low-end fixed-frequency direct cooling model, and has become the designated brand of "home appliances to the countryside" for many times, and you can buy Meiling's 210-liter three-door refrigerator for only about 1300 yuan. The price is lower than that of Haier, Rongsheng, and Midea of similar volumes, and consumers who pursue affordability can give priority to Meiling refrigerators. The positioning of Meiling and Midea's refrigerator products is very similar, and the quality of the two is also in between. Meiling refrigerator manufacturing base is very large-scale, at the top three levels in China, and technically it has maintained a development cooperation relationship with the Chinese Academy of Sciences for more than ten years.
 
On the high-end model, Meiling put forward the concept of 0.1 degree frequency conversion. This is a refinement of the refrigerator temperature control to avoid large changes in the temperature inside the refrigerator as much as possible. Other brands have similar optimizations, such as Haier's infrared precision temperature control, and Samsung's seven-point sensing. Different ingredients have different optimal storage temperatures, such as -23.3 °C for pork and beef, 2.6 °C for soy products, and -18.2 °C for fresh shrimp.
