Continental, also known as Continental tires, is the world's third largest tire manufacturer and the largest auto parts supplier in Europe, with its main products being tires, braking systems, body stability control systems, tachometers and other automotive and transportation parts, with sales ranking second only to Bosch Group (BOSCH) in 2017.

Continental's unique "Silence Chamber" silent technology, first used on the CC6, disrupts the tyresonance through a unique tread pattern that breaks the noisy airflow in the grooves of the longitudinal tread pattern of the tire, achieving a silent tyre effect. Due to its excellent quietness, the CC6 was named "Product of the Year 2017" by Automotive Magazine. The price is comparable to Michelin's similar type of tires, but the CC6 has a model specifically for SUVs, which better balances sedans and SUVs.
 
The MC6 is positioned as a luxury sports sedan tyre, combining sportiness and comfort. The cord is a high-stiffness material that reduces tire flex during emergency steering and provides better handling at high speeds, and at low speeds it provides better elasticity for driving comfort. In addition, MC6 is often compared with Michelin PS4, PS4 is better in performance, MC6 is better in comfort, MC6 is generally cheaper than PS4 in the same size.
