Guangdong Jiujiang Distillery Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiujiang Distillery") was established in 1994, formerly known as Jiujiang Distillery Joint Venture Co., Ltd., which was established in 1952 by 12 liquor workshops in Jiujiang, and the predecessor of the 12 liquor workshops has a history of 185 years. Jiujiang Distillery is in the liquor industry of traditional manufacturing industry, and its main well-known products - "Jiujiang Double Steamed Liquor", "Dizhu" Glutinous Rice Liquor, Jiujiang Twelve Fang Liquor, Cantonese Banquet Liquor, etc., are unique liquors in the Pearl River Delta.

In 2009, Jiujiang Distillery's unique Jiujiang double-distilled liquor brewing technology was rated as the intangible cultural heritage of Guangdong Province, the technology was founded in the early years of Daoguang in the Qing Dynasty, inheriting the hard work and wisdom of several generations of Jiujiang ancestors, using rice, soybeans to make small koji, using the method of steaming rice, re-fermentation, cooling distillation, Zhai liquor storage, aged meat soaking, careful blending, filter packaging method to brew the product, with the unique style of "jade ice clear, soy fragrance pure, mellow and sweet, sweet aftertaste".

In 1996, a national standard was established for soy-flavored liquor, and Jiujiang Distillery was the drafting unit of the national standard.

In September 2014, "Jiujiang Double Distilled Liquor" was officially approved as a national geographical indication protection product, becoming the first soy-flavored liquor product in China to obtain the protection of national geographical indication products.

In September 2015, Jiujiang Distillery initiated and cooperated with Jiangnan University, China Food and Fermentation Industry Research Institute, South China University of Technology, Guangdong Food Inspection Institute (National Liquor Testing Center) and other industry authoritative units to establish China Rice Wine Research Institute and Guangdong Asia-Pacific Rice Wine Research Institute, which is the first rice wine research institute in China.

In 2009, Jiujiang Distillery selected the intangible cultural promotion and education of Jiujiang double-distilled liquor brewing technology, and the positioning of the inheritance and development of Lingnan liquor culture, and wholly-owned the establishment of the first liquor museum in the rice wine industry in China - Jiujiang Shuangdike Museum. The museum is open to the public free of charge 365 days a year, and provides free guided tours and tastings. Since its establishment, it has received more than 800,000 Chinese and foreign tourists.
