Jiangxi Salt Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangyan Group" or the company) was officially established on December 27, 2016, and was established by all shareholders of the original Jiangxi Salt Industry Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangyan Co., Ltd.") as the initiators and overall change. Jiangyan Co., Ltd., formerly known as Jiangxi Salt Industry Group Co., Ltd. (a wholly state-owned company), was listed as a pilot for mixed ownership reform by the Jiangxi Provincial Government in 2014. Among them, Jiangxi Provincial State-owned Assets Management (Holdings) Co., Ltd. (the largest shareholder) accounted for 46.92% of the total share capital. The total assets are nearly 3 billion yuan, and the net assets are more than 1.6 billion yuan. There are nearly 3,000 employees and its headquarters is located in Nanchang.
The company's main business includes the production of edible salt, industrial salt and salt products, the sales and circulation of salt products and kitchen ingredients, and has formed two major business segments: salt production and trade circulation. With a salt production capacity of 3 million tons and a commercial and trade circulation network throughout the province's urban and rural areas, it is one of the few domestic salt enterprises integrating production and marketing, the only provincial salt enterprise in Jiangxi Province, and the main supplier of salt and industrial salt in southern China. It has more than 20 wholly-owned and holding subsidiaries (branches) at all levels. It has 3 designated salt production enterprises such as Jinghao Salinization and Fuda Salinization, and its circulation plate, Jiangyan Huakang Company, is a provincial-level contractor of the "Ten Thousand Villages and Thousands of Townships" project in Jiangxi Province and a certified enterprise of "Assured Grain and Oil". At present, there are mainly well-known brands in the salt market such as "Jinggang", "Baixian", "Jiangyan Huakang", "Kangliyuan" and "Jinggang Lvbao" famous edible oil trademarks in the province.
