Jiuda Group, formerly known as the "Jiuda Refined Salt Company" established by the national capitalist Fan Xudong in Tanggu, Tianjin, moved to Zigong in 1938, and established the "Jiuda Company" in 1951 by a public-private partnership of five salt enterprises in Zigong. After several changes, Sichuan Jiuda Salt Industry (Group) Company was established on March 8, 1991.
