Qinghai Salt Industry Co., Ltd. is the main enterprise of salt industry in Qinghai Province, established in April 2000. In March 2003, it was approved by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation to become a foreign-invested joint stock limited company, and is now a holding company of Western Mining Group Corporation.

The raw materials of green salt products are all from the Chaka Salt Lake and Keke Salt Lake formed 250 million years ago, of which the Chaka Salt Lake is 3100 meters above sea level, and the Keke Salt Lake is 2700 meters above sea level.
