Started in the Han Dynasty, the traditional famous tea of the Han nationality, which has been cultivated for more than 1,000 years, is a kind of green tea, and was once listed as "tribute tea", named after the Lushan Mountain produced in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China
Lushan Yunwu Tea is a traditional famous tea of the Han nationality, one of the famous tea series in China, and belongs to a kind of green tea. It was originally a wild tea, and Huiyuan, a famous monk of Donglin Temple, transformed wild tea into domestic tea. It began in the Han Dynasty and was listed as "tribute tea" in the Song Dynasty. It is named after the Lushan Mountain produced in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province, China. The tea buds are fat and green, the cords are compact and beautiful, the aroma is fresh and lasting, the taste is mellow and sweet, the soup color is clear and bright, and the bottom of the leaves is tender and green. Lushan Yunwu tea is usually described as "six uniques", that is, "the cord is thick, verdant and multi-milli, the soup color is bright, the leaves are tender and even, the fragrance is long-lasting, mellow and sweet". The flavor of Yunwu tea is unique, due to the influence of the cool and foggy climate of Lushan Mountain and the short time of direct sunlight, the formation of its leaf thickness, milli more, mellow and sweet bubble.
Lushan grows tea and has a long history. As far back as the Han Dynasty, tea trees were already planted here. According to the records of Lushan Chronicles, during the Eastern Han Dynasty, Buddhism was introduced to China, and there were more than 300 temples in Lushan at that time, and monks gathered. They climbed dangerous cliffs, braved flying springs, and competed to pick wild tea; In the depths of the white clouds, the cliffs are split, the tea trees are planted, and the tea leaves are harvested. Lushan has become one of the centers of Buddhism in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, it is reported that the famous monk Huiyuan at that time, lived on the mountain for more than 30 years, gathered monks, taught Buddhism, and developed tea planting in the mountain.
During the Tang Dynasty, Lushan tea was already very famous. Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, once went to the peak of Lushan Mountain to dig medicine and seed tea, and wrote a poem: "The creek under the long pine tree, the spotted deer placenta white cloth fur, the medicine garden tea garden is the industry, and the wild elk forest stork is the exchange."
In the Song Dynasty, there were famous teas such as Hongzhou Heling tea, Hongzhou Shuangjing tea, Bailu, and eagle claw. At this time, although the appearance of cloud tea was not clearly seen, from the poems of the Northern Song Dynasty poet Huang Tingjian, it can be vaguely seen that there was cloud tea in the Song Dynasty. Poetry: "My family is in the south of the Yangtze River, and it is not as good as the snow." The "cloud" written here refers to white and fat tea leaves; "The snow is not as good as the snow", which means that the tea leaves that are ground into powder in the grinding are better than the snow because they are white. It seems that there was no doubt that there was Baihao tea in the Song Dynasty. In the Ming Dynasty, the name of Lushan Yunwu Tea has appeared in the Ming Dynasty "Lushan Chronicles", which shows that Lushan Yunwu Tea has a history of at least 300 years. After Zhu Yuanzhang ascended the throne, Lushan's fame became more prominent. Lushan clouds and mist began to be produced in the Ming Dynasty and soon became famous throughout the country. Li Rihua's "Purple Peach Xuan Miscellaneous" in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty is the cloud: "Kuanglu is at the top, and the tea is produced in the clouds and mist, which is very victorious." "
Kuanglu Mountain is really the hometown of clouds and the world of clouds. The clouds and mist of Lushan Mountain, thousands of postures, infinite changes, sometimes like vast waves, sometimes like light thin flocculents, the whole Lushan is immersed in the hazy and ethereal clouds and mist, "in the mist of thousands of mountains, Vientiane Hongmengli", just like the realm of the void. Therefore, there is the name of cloud tea, "fog buds absorb the fragrant dragon fat", the moisture of the cloud and mist, promote the accumulation of aromatic oil in the buds and leaves, and also keep the leaf buds fresh and tender, so that you can make excellent fragrance and good tea.
In 1971, Lushan Yunwu Tea was listed as a special famous tea in China's green tea category, and became famous at home and abroad in one fell swoop for its "six uniques" such as thick ropes, verdant and multi-millimeters, bright soup color, tender and uniform leaves, long-lasting fragrance, mellow and sweet taste.
In 1982, it ranked first among the eight famous teas in Jiangxi in the 21 tea competitions in Jiangxi. In the same year, the National Famous Tea Competition was designated as China's famous tea.
In 1985, it won the silver medal of national high-quality products, and in 1989, it won the gold medal of the first China Food Expo.
"Lushan Chronicles" contains: Lushan Yunwu tea "was originally planted by birds and birds, and spread in the rock crevices and stone ......". It is also known as diamond forest tea. Zuanlin tea is regarded as the top grade of cloud tea, but due to the scattered thorny bushes, it is difficult to find, not only the clothes are torn, but the amount is very small. In the past, the cultivation of Yunwu tea in Lushan was thanks to the monks of Lushan Temple, and it was their hard sweat that cultivated and watered one stubble after another of tea trees. Lushan Yunwu tea, large-scale cultivation, is after entering the 20th century, but it is still related to Buddhism.
After the establishment of Lushan Botanical Garden in 1934, it introduced tea seedlings from Wuru Temple at the foot of Lushan Mountain, purchased tea seeds, and opened up more than 10 acres of tea gardens. But before that, the cultivation and production of Lushan cloud tea was thanks to the monks of the Lushan temple. As Chen Sanli said in the poem, it is the result of "the mountain monks going back and forth to the ankles and shins, and the scarlet cries in front of the tiger and leopard". Lushan Yunwu Tea is a masterpiece of tea and Zen.
Since the 50s of the 20th century, Lushan Yunwu tea has been rapidly developed, more than 5,000 acres of tea gardens, distributed in the entire Lushan Hanyang Peak, Wulao Peak, Xiaotianchi, Datianchi, Hanpokou, Huajing, Tianqiao, Xiujingan, Zhong'an, Zhumaling, Haihui Temple, Shuaijia, Huacheng Mountain, Qingshan, Tongyuan, Baxian Nunnery, Maweishui, Gaolong, Weijia, Lianhuadong, Longmengou, Saiyang, Biyunan and other places. Among them, especially between Wulao Peak and Hanyang Peak, because the clouds and mist do not disperse all day long, the tea quality is the best.
