Produced in Huangshan, Anhui Province, belongs to green tea, China's famous historical tea, created by Xie Yutai Tea House during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty, because the new tea leaves are draped in the body/buds of Jianfeng Mang, and the fresh leaves are picked from the peak of Huangshan Mountain, then the tea is named Huangshan Maofeng
One of China's historical teas, Hui tea, belongs to green tea. It is produced in Huangshan, Anhui Province. It was created by Xie Yutai Tea House during the Guangxu period of the Qing Dynasty. Every year Qingming Valley rain, select the first fat and strong buds, hand-fried, the shape of the tea is slightly rolled, like a bird's tongue, yellowing in the green, the silver quill is exposed, and with golden fish leaves (commonly known as gold sheets). Brew into the cup and brew the fog at the top, the soup color is clear and slightly yellow, the bottom of the leaves is yellow and green, the taste is mellow and sweet, the aroma is like an orchid, and the charm is profound. Because the newly made tea leaves are covered with white hair, the buds are sharp and peaky, and the fresh leaves are picked from the peak of Huangshan Mountain, so the tea is named Huangshan Maofeng.
Xie Zheng'an (1838-1910) was a quiet and peaceful character, who ran the tea industry all his life, and successively opened the "Xie Yuda" tea number and other factories to make great efforts to rejuvenate the business with virtue for half a century. In 1875, it was the first to create Maofeng in Huangshan, which sold well in Europe and Asia, and was the only red-topped merchant in Huangshan at that time.
In the Huangshan area, due to the high mountain, good soil quality, warm and moist, "the morning and evening are full of fog when it is sunny, and the clouds are full of clouds all over the day when it rains", the clouds and mist are ethereal, it is very suitable for the growth of tea trees, and the history of tea production is long. According to historical records, Huangshan tea was quite famous more than 400 years ago. "Huangshan Chronicles" said: "Lotus Nunnery next to the stone gap to raise tea, more fragrant and cold rhyme, attack people broken palate, called Huangshan cloud tea." Legend has it that this is the predecessor of Huangshan Maofeng. "Huizhou Mansion Chronicles" recorded: "Huangshan tea began in the Song Dynasty, and flourished in the Ming Dynasty's Longqing." When was the real Huangshan Maofeng tea created, according to the "Huizhou Chamber of Commerce Information" records, originated in the Qing Dynasty Guangxu period (around 1875), when there was a Shexian tea merchant Xie Zheng'an (the word Jinghe) opened the "Xie Yutai" tea shop, in order to meet the market demand, before and after the Qingming Festival, personally led people to Chongchuan, Tangkou and other alpine gardens to select and pick fat buds and leaves, after fine roasting, created a high-quality tea with good flavor, because the tea is white and clothed, the bud tip is like a peak, named "Mao Feng", and then named "Huangshan Mao Feng".
The area around Huangshan was exported with green tea before Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty. Since the first year of Guangxu, Caoxi Xie Zheng'an created Huangshan Maofeng, and its bud tea raw materials are selected from Chongtouyuan Tea Garden. The head source of the small source of Huangshan is the birthplace of Maofeng of Huangshan. Because it belongs to the southward direction of the main vein of Huangshan Mountain and turns to the east to the south, it is the first village with deep mountains and narrow valleys, which has a unique ecological environment, and is really "good tea produced in high mountains".

After liberation, Maofeng of Huangshan Mountain was produced in the tea garden of Huangshan Scenic Area by people as the famous mountain, as the name suggests, and was inferred to be the descendant of "Huangshan Yunwu Tea". For a long time, Shexian Tea Company has produced special grade Huangshan Maofeng in the tea garden of Huangshan Scenic Area, and the "Anhui Daily" publishes the opening date of Huangshan Maofeng every year, which is the time of spring tea production in the province. In 1955, Huangshan Maofeng was identified by the China Tea Company as one of the top ten famous teas in the country. In 1982, it was awarded the title of famous tea by the Ministry of Commerce. In 1983, he was awarded the "Certificate of Honor" by the Ministry of Foreign Economic Cooperation. Since 1994, Shexian Tea Company has turned to Fuxi Township in Xiaoyuan, Huangshan, and resumed the production of special Huangshan Maofeng in the origin of Huangshan Maofeng, which was exported to West Germany and Hong Kong, and was well received by international friends. In 1986, it was designated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as tea and gift tea for entertaining foreign guests, and it was produced in Fuxi Township. In that year, at the National Flower Tea, Oolong Tea High-quality Products and Famous Tea Competition, Huangshan Maofeng once again won the National Famous Tea Crown. In February 1987, it was awarded the title of ministerial-level high-quality tea by the Ministry of Commerce. In 1990, the Taiwanese compatriots in Fuxi brought the special grade Huangshan Maofeng, which was inspected and recognized as "excellent quality" by Taiwan's "Tianren Enterprise Group". In particular, the tea farmers in Xintian of Fuxi Township have made full use of the principle of "good tea produced in high mountains" and insisted on developing high mountain tea gardens according to local conditions, with remarkable results. Yu Yisheng once said in the book "Tea Technology" that the quality of Huangshan Maofeng produced by Xintian Peak can also be comparable to that of Huangshan Famous Garden. Nowadays, operators who pay attention to product quality buy Huangshan: "to be authentic, to Fuxi". In the Tangkou tea market, the Huangshan Maofeng produced in Xintian is particularly pretty, and the tea buyers ask the villagers of Xintian to bring the "resident ID card" to sell tea, and the good tea is sold at a good price and a certificate price. On March 19 this year, since the opening of Xintian Huangshan Maofeng, it was purchased by the "Huangshan Huizhou Caoxi Tea Factory" at a fixed price, and the tea farmer's spring tea Huangshan Maofeng exceeded the total value of tea last year.
Huangshan Maofeng, the treasure of tea. It has become a good gift for international friends and domestic tourists. In the spring of 1999, when Premier Zhu Rongji of the State Council visited the United States, President Jiang Zemin entrusted him to bring the famous tea of Huangshan that was given to his mentor in Philadelphia, USA.
