Brand legend

"Cat Poop Coffee", produced in Sumatra, Indonesia, has been continuing its legend with its rarity and uniqueness.

In the 17th century, Dutch colonists first introduced coffee saplings to Indonesia. The unique geographical environment and mild climate of Sumatra have bred high-quality coffee beans, but a unique local ferret likes to eat ripe and full coffee cherries, and during the harvest season, the coffee plantations are often stolen by them, which makes the coffee farmers who have already paid heavy taxes a headache, so they are driven and killed in large numbers. Until one day, when Captain Willemsen passed by a farmer on duty as usual, he smelled a wisp of coffee from a distance, and he broke into the farmer's yard and saw the farmer frying coffee beans in an iron pot. Annoyed by his boss for not harvesting enough beans, Willemsen is about to go crazy when he is attracted by a cup of black coffee brought by the farmer. As soon as he tasted it, Willemsen felt incomparably smooth and mellow, and a sweet aroma that had never been felt before instantly attacked his taste buds! When he saw the green beans that the farmer pointed out to him, he was even more dumbfounded---- it turned out to be the feces excreted by the wild ferret! It turned out that the local farmers couldn't drink the coffee harvested in the garden, and when they saw a lot of coffee beans on the ground that the ferrets couldn't digest, they felt a pity, so they collected and processed them and enjoyed them themselves, and called it "cat poop coffee". When Willemsen returned home, he brought these special coffee beans back to the Netherlands and paid tribute to his aristocratic superiors, which were immediately favored by the Dutch nobility and have been a tribute only to the royal family ever since. All thanks to the miracle of the Creator, the coffee cherries are naturally fermented in the ferret's body to produce a wonderful change, and the ferret's musk glands give the coffee beans a unique aroma. Since then, the "cat poop coffee" has been passed down, and the local ferrets have been effectively protected.
