The story of COSTA began in 1971 on Old Paradise Street in London, when two Italian brothers, Bruno and Sergio Costa, with an irresistible passion for coffee, created COSTA's unique Mocha Italian blend beans and opened their first coffee shop in central London. They have a perfect blend of Arabica and Robert beans and roast them slowly so that their aromas and oils are preserved.

Today, COSTA has traveled from London to 39 countries around the world, but our dedication to the quality of our artisanal coffee has not changed. All of our COSTA coffee beans are sourced from Rainforest Alliance certified farms, and each blend of Mocha Italian blends is tasted by our COSTA Master Coffee Master, Gennaro Pelliccia, and delivered to more than 3,000 stores worldwide. Every gorgeous turn from coffee beans to cup coffee is handmade by our baristas, just to show our passion and original intention for coffee.

COSTA entered the Chinese market

At the end of 2006, Costa established Yueda Casa (Shanghai) Catering Management Co., Ltd. in Shanghai and opened its first store in China on Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street.

In the second half of 2008, Costa established Hualian Casa Catering Management Co., Ltd. in Beijing, officially entered the Beijing market, and rapidly developed 43 chain stores in Beijing.
