Konka Group Co., Ltd., founded in 1980, is a retail giant in the domestic color TV industry, with strong manufacturing capacity, Sino-foreign joint ventures, and a comprehensive manufacturer of electronic communication products such as color TVs/white goods/mobile phones

Konka Group was established on May 21, 1980, formerly known as "Guangdong Guangming Huaqiao Electronic Industry Co., Ltd.", which is the first Sino-foreign joint venture electronic enterprise born after China's reform and opening up, with an initial investment of 43 million Hong Kong dollars. In 1991, Konka Group was reorganized into a Chinese and foreign public joint-stock company. In 1992, Konka's A and B shares were listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange at the same time, with total assets of nearly 10 billion yuan, net assets of nearly 4 billion yuan, and a total share capital of 2.408 billion shares, with OCT Group as the largest shareholder.

Konka Group is mainly engaged in the R&D, manufacturing and sales of color televisions, mobile phones, white goods, household appliances, LEDs, set-top boxes and related products, as well as precision molds, injection molded parts, high-frequency heads, printed boards, transformers and mobile phone batteries and other supporting businesses, and is a leading electronic information enterprise in China.
