Shanghai Mitsubishi brand introduction

Shanghai Mitsubishi logo
Founded in 1987 by Japan's Mitsubishi Electric and Shanghai Electromechanical, Shanghai Mitsubishi is the most familiar elevator brand for many people. The actual holding of Shanghai Mitsubishi belongs to Shanghai Electromechanical, and the technical background comes from Mitsubishi of Japan, which is the first manufacturing enterprise in China to launch a variable voltage variable frequency (VVVF) elevator, which can make the elevator more stable and energy-saving.

Japan's Mitsubishi is the pioneer of VVVF elevators, which was first introduced to the Chinese market by Shanghai Mitsubishi. Compared with the common DC control system, the VVVF inverter control can bring smoother acceleration and lower noise, and the elevator leveling accuracy is high. At the same time, acceleration/deceleration control can reduce elevator run time by up to 20 percent, and the regenerative braking system can also save a lot of energy, which is 60 percent or less of that of common systems.

Shanghai Mitsubishi has developed rapidly since the joint venture, and has been the most powerful competitor in the government co-construction project since 1992, when it was the first in sales in the elevator industry. Shanghai Mitsubishi attaches great importance to the cooperation with dealers in different regions, authorizes many special maintenance dealers, 7 regions, 36 directly affiliated branches, and more than 230 sales, installation and maintenance service agents to ensure a perfect after-sales service system, which is also the reason why Shanghai Mitsubishi can continue to develop rapidly.

Shanghai Mitsubishi's main model of home elevator is LEON-II., which is at the forefront of the industry in terms of civil engineering applicability, safety, and quietness. LEON-II requires a minimum pit depth of only 320mm and a minimum top height of 2850mm, which can be applied to most villa environments. In addition to the necessary safety protection functions as standard, LEON-II also pre-fabricates emergency plans in the event of power outages, fires, pit flooding, and other accidents. In terms of mute function, LEON-II has system-level mute treatment for the main engine, control cabinet and door operator to ensure the quiet riding process. Depending on the environment and preferences, consumers can consider different combinations of options for single-sided/through-door and split/side-door openings.

Shanghai Mitsubishi's LEHY-MRL-II model is a machine-room-less elevator, although it has also been seen in a small number of family scenes, but it is not a home elevator in the strict sense, and the performance parameters are beyond the standard of home elevators.
