Zhengzhou Institute of Technology and Business is a full-time private undergraduate university approved by the Ministry of Education in 2016. Founded in 2002, the college was formerly known as Wanfang College of Science and Technology of Henan Polytechnic University, which is the first independent college at the undergraduate level in Henan Province.
The college is located in Zhengdong New District, Zhengzhou City, in the hinterland of the Central Plains, rooted in the Central Plains culture, and shares the rich economic, cultural and educational resources of the provincial capital. The campus environment is elegant, advanced and functional. There are seven colleges, including the School of Architectural Engineering, the School of Mechanical and Telecommunications Engineering, the School of Economics and Management, the School of Accounting, the School of Liberal Arts and Law, the School of Arts, and the School of Continuing Education. The college has an engineering technology training center, a geotechnical training room, a gem and jade training room, an engineering training room, an economic and management training room, a flight attendant training center, a studio and other experimental teaching places for students to practice in the school, as well as a library, track and field stadium, lighting stadium, gymnasium and other physical education teaching facilities, which can fully meet the needs of teaching and extracurricular activities.
The college vigorously promotes the "Five Projects of Quality Education", and is committed to cultivating "three-ability" talents who "can stand up and speak, sit down and write, and go out and do", and strive to "teach students their skills, give peace of mind to parents, and hand over practical talents to the society".
The comprehensive quality of graduates is outstanding, with an employment rate of more than 95% over the years, and a postgraduate examination rate of more than 18%, and a large number of outstanding student models have emerged, such as national scholarship winners, Chinese college students' self-improvement stars, Chinese college students' annual figures, and international volunteers serving overseas.
